Joining competetive pokemon

So I have been playing shoddy for some time now...and I'm joining the competative play so that I can just IDK have more fun. With the new legendary rulez I have thought of using a team like this..

metagross, requaza, mewtwo,scizor,forretress,and mamoswine What do you guys think for the 2010 vgc season??

Expect to see a ton of Kyogre.  With the ability to have infinite rain and a large number of Pokemon that can take advantage of it, it is one of the best strategies.  Becuase it will be doubles format, Forretress isn't that great and Stealth Rock will not be present.  In doubles, swithces are rarely made.

Sorry for no strategy posted, but I've changed the team up a bunch. I might change back to a quick swim team with kyogre as the starter...although i was unaware of it being only a doubles format..that kind of throws a rench in my format..another option could be requaza to preventthose such weather teams

after seeing Lucas talk about it, I borrowed a copy of Platinum from my brother to start playing through.  We'll see where it leads.  my experience in the video game is like, none, so I'll have to read up on good combos and whatnot.

I have tons of experience on shoddy.  I have been dominating the Pokebeach off season tournaments.  PDC can atest to that.

so in competitive videogame pokemon, can they tell if your team is legit-caught or hacked?

They are able to detect hacked Pokemon.  As to what extent I do not know.  If you used a code to make a vitamin provide 252 EVs it probably would go undetected as long as your Pokemon has less than 510 evs total.  If you are concerned, use Pokemon Battle Revolution if you have it.  If a Pokemon shows up as Bad Egg, it definitely cannot be used.  It won't detect anything wrong with an Arceus, however, Arceus is banned at the VGC.
